Hello readers, I’m not dead hooray!  I recently got married and haven’t had much time for blogging, but I am back and armed with a boatload of pictures.  I will post some wedding photos later, but first, let me explain how awesome The Elephant Walk is in Stillwater MN.  We went here for a mini-moon since we will be travelling to China in October for our full honeymoon.  We stayed in the Cadiz Garden Suite for 3 days and 2 nights and it was the best idea ever.  The room had a private patio, fireplace which we didn’t use since it was June… and a separate sitting and jacuzzi area.  Every morning we would have coffee ready at the door, and a great breakfast served after.  I went a little crazy with the picture taking since Sean had got me a Canon EF 50mm f/2.5 Compact Macro Lens for my birthday, and I now realize that all of my pictures are of details and I have no actual room pictures!  That is aok because we will definitely be going back there.

This is the main backyard shared by all guests.  My only “big” picture. :)

This orchid is REAL.  Like for serious. I kind of want one now but it will probably die.

Cute little bird cage in the room, that’s a fake bird btw, real birds creep me out.

They love their bird decorations here.  This is outside on the patio.

And of course, first thing you do with a macro lens is find the nearest bug and take a picture of it.

What a crazy picture heavy post!  I will have many more crazy picture heavy posts coming up, since a lot of the food I made, I forgot which recipes I used or what I even did.  That will teach me to slack on the blogging thing.  *sigh*

In San Diego, we went to the beach where the seals took over. 

And we went to the San Diego Zoo!  I didn’t drag my big canon camera out so pardon my pictures! :(  We saw a lot of monkeys and I didn’t get a single good shot of them because they are TOO FAST!  Stacy probably has all the good ones. *pout*

And in LA, some interesting things happened.  Apparently our hotel was hosting an anime convention, I got a picture of the pedo-bear.

It was great seeing my BFFs!  What a fun trip.
